The juxtaposition and combination of different time periods is done flawlessly. The actresses, script, and execution are top-notch. The film is entertaining, light in nature and will leave anyone drooling. As usual, Meryl Streep is perfect and the Nora Ephron script has been commended time and time again.

This teen co0medy is one that will forever be referred to, quoted and known as it showcased Reese Witherspoon’s comedic abilities and left fans laughing for years. Literally, people are still laughing. Although comedic in nature the storyline still features as an empowering one for women globally.
