Hope and Benjamin worked to make a stronger case in order to prosecute her. After all, they knew that this was the only way to prevent Alexis from doing the same thing to more children. When Alexis was charged by the Charleston City Police, she confessed to the accusation right away. This was great news and made the process much easier for everyone involved. She received one to three years in prison and had to enter a register as well. “That is fantastic news to us,” said the concerned dad. “To know that maybe Finn’s ordeal has possibly saved another child’s life in the future.”
